Out of the above town areas the Amethi is most developed and situated in the south-west on the Sultanpur- Raebareli Road at about 40 km from Sultanpur city. It has developed into an industrial area due to its geographical situation and being connected to the Indian railways network. Its political significance has also played a very prominent role in its development. The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is one of the most prestigious public sector established here. |
